The Outpost Ice Arenas offer Contract Ice Training Sessions for:
Ice Dance, Moves in the Field and Freestyle.
To maintain session quality for ALL, we ask skaters, coaches and skaters' families to observe these rules, as well as other common courtesies:
- This time is for advanced figure skating only, not the public.
- Please contact the Outpost Ice Arena before dropping in to a Contract Session. We can only advise you of changes or cancellations to Contract Ice Sessions for which you have contracted.
- There are no credits or makeup time given for missed Contract Ice Sessions.
- An injured skater must contact the Director of Skating within 24 hours, to explain the nature of the injury and the recovery time necessary. We must then have a release from your doctor allowing you to resume your skating activities before you can enter the ice surface.
- Skaters may add on at anytime at their current Contract Ice rate.
- Drop-in skaters will have their music played after all skaters who have a contract, if time allows. This includes any drop in skater receiving a lesson.
- Parents are not allowed to coach their children on the ice. Once your skater has entered the ice surface, signal them to return to the lobby area to speak with you so you do not disrupt the the training of other skaters.
- Parents may view private lessons or training during Contract Ice time from the lobby or seated in the arena bleachers. Please do not stand in the doorway or on the stairs.
