News and ViewsIn the News...Albuquerque Journal article, June 29, 2006 May 2006 Press Release This facility will be the very first of its kind, featuring not one but TWO connected ice arenas permitting a 1/5th of a mile speed skating venue as just one of the seven Olympic training disciplines, i.e. Hockey, Figure Skating, Curling, Speed Skating, Ice Dancing, Pairs Skating, Short Tack Speed Skating. The two professional ice arenas will be connected by a Patented and Trade-Marked Design of (2) Studio Ice Sheets/Curling Courts (never seen in the History of Ice Skating). Both Arenas and Studio Ice Sheets/Curling Courts (Never seen in the History of Ice Skating). Both Arenas and Studio Ice Sheets will be under one roof. Proprietor Robert Martin's patented method of connecting the two Arenas by the raising of two *automatic corner gates* of each Arena, is a revolutionary/evolutionary concept as an ice venue design prototype.
