Youth Beginning Ice Hockey Class 2006

Saturdays & Sundays:  3:15pm-4:15pm

Session 2: June: 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18

Session 3: July: 22, 23, 29, 30, August: 5, 6


This Program will emphasize beginning skating skills, stick-handling, basic strategy and positioning. This class is specifically designed for those skaters who recently completed a minimum of Basic I Ice Skating lessons with the Outpost Ice Arena.


Fees per unit:

Tuition: $85.00

Equipment Rental: $20.00

Skate rental: $6.00





Youth Intermediate Hockey Class 2006

Saturdays & Sundays:  3:15pm-4:15pm

Session 2: June: 24, 25, July: 8, 9, 15, 16

Session 3: August: 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27


This program is designed to develop the skills acquired in Beginning Hockey and build the player's confidence. The coaches will teach stick-handling, game positioning and strategy, and work on shooting. This class is specifically designed for those players who have recently completed Beginning Hockey with the Outpost Ice Arena.

Adult Intermediate Hockey Class 2006

Sundays:  11:30am-12:45pm

Session 1: April: 2, 9, 23, May: 7, 14, 21, June: 4, 11

Session 2: June: 18, 25, July: 9, 16, 23, 30, August: 6, 13


This class is designed to expand on the fundamentals of the fine game of ice hockey. Players will develop skills to build confidence. The instructor will teach stick-handling, game positioning and strategy, and work on shooting.


Fees per unit:

tuition: $95.00

equipment rental: $20.00

skate rental: $8.00


Equipment Rental requires a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express card number for security deposit.  There will be a $200.00 penalty for unreturned equipment.
The equipment rental package includes jersey, socks, and protective gear only (helmet, gloves, pants, elbow/knee/shin pads).
Players are required to supply their own personal items: hockey stick, protective cup, and garter belt.  These items are available at the Outpost Proshop.
