Outpost Ice Arena is looking for a motivated individual to assist with Pro Shop operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete guest transactions using POS (Point of Sale) register system.

• Ability to establish strong product knowledge.

• Deliver excellent customer service.

• Maintain the appearance of the shop – stocking, cleaning, and performing housekeeping duties throughout the shift.

• Assist guests with the fitting of equipment.

• Perform minor repairs to hockey equipment.

• Accurately count register drawer and maintain cash drawer balance.

• Communicate efficiently with supervisors and co-workers verbally and in writing.

• Provide and maintain an appealing retail setting for guests.

• Responsible for daily and nightly cleaning of the store.

• Complete tasks assigned by manager on time.

• Answer phone calls and return phone calls in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of hockey and figure skating equipment preferred.

• Retail experience preferred.

• Organizational, communication, and planning skills.

• Ability to work flexible schedules – including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• This position will involve moving stock and re-organizing merchandise. Must be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs.

All Team Members, regardless of position, will be expected to provide an outstanding customer experience for every customer. All Team Members are responsible for ongoing housekeeping duties throughout the facility. They will ensure all areas of the facility are kept clean and safe, including the removal of trash, cleaning of tables, windows, parking areas, bathrooms, lobby & restaurant floors and putting items away in their proper place. Team Members will also perform other duties/projects as assigned.

Outpost Ice Arena is looking for experienced line cooks. We are expanding our restaurant and need motivated candidates that can keep up with a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies

• Prepare food for service

• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

• Clean up station and take care of leftover food

• Stock inventory appropriately

• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook

• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

• Familiar with industry’s best practices

Outpost Ice Arenas New Mexico Ice Wolves Game Day Operations & Concessions Team

The Outpost Ice Arenas and New Mexico Ice Wolves are seeking energetic, personable, hard-working individuals to join their Game Day Operations & Concessions Team for the upcoming 2021-2022 North American Hockey League season. The Ice Wolves are scheduled to play 28 games on multiple Friday and Saturday evenings between October 2021 and April 2022 on their home ice at The Outpost Ice Arenas this season and we’ll need a dedicated crew to provide a safe, clean and fun environment and experience for fans and players.

· Team members will earn $10.50/hour and qualify for discounts in the Center Ice Grill and Chilly’s Pro Shop. Uniform shirts will be provided.

· Team members can expect to work from approximately 4 PM to 12 PM on game days (mostly Fridays and Saturdays; see home game schedule below and at: https://www.nmicewolves.com/stats/schedule/1397/241/all-months/home?league=1 ).

Duties, tasks and responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

-Operating ticket sales computers and scanning tickets at arena entrance

-Parking lot assistance prior to games and arena ushers during games

-Monitoring and removal of trash and waste receptacles during and after games

-Janitorial cleaning and disinfecting of lobby, dining areas, restrooms, locker rooms, bleachers, and other areas before, during and after games

-Ice maintenance and rink glass cleaning

-Center Ice Grill Food & Drink Concessions Sales

Additionally, Team members must pass a basic criminal background investigation.
